Officials with Meadowlands Racetrack have announced scheduling changes to some upcoming stakes events at the New Jersey oval.
The Meadowlands will lose two days of live racing in August to pre-season NFL football, with live harness racing cancelled on Saturday, August 16 and Friday, August 22.
This cancellation necessitates moving the stakes that were scheduled over that period. Please be aware of these changes and the resulting change to draw dates.
Those adjustments are listed below:
- Homegrown Two-Year-Old Pace (colts and fillies):
from Saturday, August 9 to Friday, August 8
- Renaissance Two-Year-Old Pace (colts and fillies) elims and Garden State Two-Year-Old Trot (colts and fillies):
from Saturday, August 16 to Friday, August 15
- NJSDF Three-Year-Old Trot finals and the third leg of the Kindergarten Series:
from Friday, August 22 to Saturday, August 23
