Owners and trainers looking to buy racehorses have a great opportunity coming soon, as Tattersalls will conduct another 'all racehorse' sale at the Meadowlands on Sunday, August 2.
The Meadowlands Summer Mixed Sale gets underway at noon that day, with more than 130 racehorses selling that include a big section of three-year-olds - 57 in all.
The main sale catalogue and past performances catalogue are now available and are posted for download at tattersallsredmile.com and on the Equineline sales catalogue app.
“This sale exceeded our expectations in terms of both number and quality,” said sale manager David Reid. “It’s very strong in the ‘meat of the market,’ horses that are racing, winning and making money. The three-year-olds that we’ll sell - almost 60 of them - are right in the wheelhouse of what owners and trainers want today.”
The sale follows a highly successful spring sale for Tattersalls. It kicks off Hambletonian week festivities at the Meadowlands, with the gem of trotting’s Triple Crown set for the following Saturday.
Reid advised that print catalogues will be mailed shortly to those on the sales company’s mailing list. Others may request a print catalogue and racelines by visiting tattersallsredmile.com and filling out the catalogue request form.
Reid also pointed out that horses for the supplement catalogue are still being accepted.
