The connections of nine three-year-old pacing fillies have entered their charges to contest the Lady Crocus Stakes, which will be contested via a pair of divisions this Sunday (July 16) at the Holland Fair in Manitoba.
Four fillies will contest the first division, a $6,580 split that has been carded as Race 1 on the 11-dash card, which will kick off at 1:30 p.m. The George Isman-trained and Garett Isman-driven Allamerican Navajo bay Brain Teaser has been installed at the 3-1 morning line choice and will start from the outside Post 4. The filly owned by George and Tara Isman (of Gladstone, Manitoba) and Garett Isman (Winnipeg, Manitoba) will be looking to break her maiden Sunday. She is heading into the race off of a second-place July 9 finish over Miami.
The second division (Race 2) will feature a field of five and will be contested for a purse of $6,680. The Dean Ray-owned/trained/driven Art Official bay Dragonart has been assessed as the 2-1 morning-line choice for the dash. The filly has one pari-mutuel start under her belt – a second-place finish last weekend over Miami.
