Trot Insider has learned that horseman Kenneth Weeks of Belleville, Ont. passed away suddenly in Cobourg, Ont. on Monday, July 9 at the age of 72.
Son of the late George and Dorothy Weeks. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Bradshaw) Weeks of Belleville. Loving father of Ron (Vicky) Weeks and Derick Weeks both of Belleville and Shannon (Jason) Campbell of Trenton. Cherished Grandpa of Browen, Jacinda, Hunter and several step-grandchildren. Dear brother of John (Shirley) Weeks and Barbara (Allan) Wood.
He is predeceased by sisters; Jeannette Weeks and Dorothy Lensen and brothers George, Billy and Ed Weeks. Ken will be missed by his buddy 'Hero.'
Friends are invited to call at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville (613-968-2273) on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with the Memorial Service to follow at 12:00 noon. Mr. John Bertelink officiating. Cremation has taken place.
