Tioga Downs and Vernon Downs are hosting the first Miss Tioga and Miss Vernon contests on Friday, July 10th (Tioga), and Saturday, July 11th (Vernon)
. Contestants will be judged on three categories including swim suit, evening gown, and casual wear. A $1,500 cash prize awaits the winner of each event along with an opportunity to compete in the Miss Planet Beach contest in Reno, Nevada in October.
