Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame (CHRHF) Induction Gala, which will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at the Mississauga Convention Centre in Mississauga, Ont. The Class of 2026 will be formally inducted to the CHRHF at the Gala.
The Gala will include a pre-dinner reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the induction ceremonies at 6:30 p.m.
The Class of 2026 inductees include Standardbred participants Doug Arthur, Mike Saftic, Dr. Maurice Stewart, Dr. William Henry Riddell, Majestic Son, Put On A Show and Western Dreamer, as well as Thoroughbred participants John Brnjas Burness, Michael Burns Jr., Richard Dos Ramos, Dale Saunders, Eva Ring, One For Rose and Rahy's Attorney.
Tables for eight guests are $2,200 + HST and include a $400 donation to the CHRHF. Individual tickets are being offered at an early bird price of $230 + HST until July 3. After July 3, individual ticket prices increase to $260 + HST per person, while supplies last. A charitable donation receipt will be provided to ticket purchasers as applicable.
