The first leg of the Matinee Championship Challenge Series will take place Saturday, June 12 at the Charles F. Willis Memorial Raceway in O’Leary
.
First-race post time is set for 2:00 p.m.
Horses and drivers race for points throughout the summer matinee season, culminating in the championship finals at Summerside in September.
Everybody is welcome and a canteen is on site.
Director Clair Sweet says that the track is so good this year they could have raced in last week’s deluge.
Horses must be entered no later than two days in advance, to Phillip DesRoche at 902-859-1515.
