The wettest June in Pennsylvania’s recorded history claimed two more 'victims' this past weekend.
A release by the PA Fair Harness Horsemen’s Association states that the scheduled Saturday and Sunday cards at the Crawford County Fairgrounds had to be cancelled due to the bad weather.
Of the three weekends of racing on the calendar so far, Wattsburg got in three-year-old racing but not two-year-olds, Bloomsburg two-year-olds but not three-year-olds, and the Crawford cards were both washed out.
The next stop on the PA fair circuit is in Butler this Thursday (two-year-olds) and Friday (three-year-olds). First-race post time for both days is 10 a.m.
