Do you have plans to celebrate Canada Day? We want to see what our members and fans are doing to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Canadian Horse Racing and the 150th birthday of Canada this Saturday, July 1!
We’d like you to take a photo that captures you, your family or friends celebrating Canadian horse racing on Canada Day weekend. Share your passion and enthusiasm for horse racing by posting the photo via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest, and use both the #cdnhorseracing250 and #Canada150 hashtags to enter your photos in the contest.
Celebrating Canadian Horse Racing and Canada Day could be as simple as toasting your horses, going to the races, or taking part in one of the special 250 events hosted at the 23 racetracks across the country.
We’ll select three photos from all of the photos that use the #cdnhorseracing250 and #Canada150 hashtags and are posted or tweeted, on either June 30, July 1 or July 2 and award some great prize packages to the photographers.
The prize packages will consist of a $50 gift card to the racetrack of your choice, and a fabulous swag package that includes 250 merchandise, swag from the I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club and Trot Magazine.
