The 'I Love Canadian Harness Racing' Fan Club is inviting Fan Club members to Grand River Raceway on Friday, July 5 for a Meetup event.
What is a Meetup? Meetup Groups are common around the world and provide opportunities for people with similar interests or hobbies to get together. It can be an opportunity to make friends, learn, share experiences and get involved.
On Friday, July 5, starting at 6:30 p.m., the Fan Club will hold its first Meetup event at Grand River Raceway. The Fan Club will have a reserved seating area, offer the Backstage Pass Program (behind the scenes and paddock tours for those who are interested), a race presentation, draws, prizes and more.
You can meet and enjoy the company of other Fan Club members for part of the evening or the whole night. Email [email protected] to register for the event. You don’t have to pre-register, but anyone that does will be entered into a draw for a great prize package.
The first 20 people to show up in the designated FC area at Grand River on July 5 will receive a free program and a free Fan Club gift.
Aside from all of this, Fan Club members can enjoy the regular Friday night 'Fun & Frivolity' at the Elora track, which includes the Tarmac Show, the NEIGHbourhood for kids, and a crew from 107.5 DAVE FM for a live broadcast.
Racing starts at 7:05 p.m.
