Tioga Downs has announced that it will continue with tradition and will present its annual bobblehead giveaway on Drivers’ Championship Day, Sunday, August 28
.
Tioga Downs and its bobblehead sponsor, Winbak Farms, will unveil the re-production of 'The Bionic Man' Tim Tetrick in coordination with the fifth edition of the Drivers’ Championship.
“We are honoured to re-introduce the Tim Tetrick bobble-head on Drivers’ Championship day this year. Tetrick has participated in all four events and has been a big supporter of what we try to do here at Tioga and Vernon Downs,” said Jason Settlemoir, the track's VP of Racing and Simulcast.
The giveaway will begin at noon on the trackside apron, and Tetrick will be down there as well to sign some bobbleheads. The other eight drivers for the Driver’s Championship will also be on hand for a driver meet-and-greet along with photos for an autograph session.
Bobbleheads will be given out to the public, one per person, while supplies last.
