Beginning with the Thursday, June 22 card and moving forward, Hawthorne Race Course and the United States Trotting Association will be teaming up to offer guaranteed pools on the track’s late Pick 4 wager nightly at Hawthorne.
Through the USTA Strategic Wagering Program, past performances for each guaranteed pool will be made available for free to handicappers. Players can find the past performances in the ‘Handicapping’ section at ustrotting.com.
The late Pick 4 at Hawthorne has a 50-cent base minimum wager and a 15 per cent takeout rate. The wager will cover the final four races on the Hawthorne card each night. The guaranteed pools will be $10,000 on Thursday evening, $15,000 on Friday and Saturday evening and $20,000 on Sunday evening.
Additionally, for tonight’s (Thursday, June 22) Hawthorne card, the Pick 5, beginning with Race 1, has a $2,959 carryover and will have a $10,000 guaranteed pool.
