It has been announced that there will a meeting on Thursday, June 30 at Century Downs in regard to the use of lasix.
The meeting will kick off at 10 a.m., but the specific location of the meeting at Century has yet to be determined.
Lab technicians and officials from the Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency, Horse Racing Alberta, Century Downs and the Alberta Standardbred Horse Association will all be in attendance.
Horsepeople with questions regarding the lasix program are encouraged to be present at the meeting, as the protocols for the program will be explained.
