Artistic Fella To Australia

It was today announced that $2.6 million earner Artistic Fella, a son of Pacific Fella, is scheduled to begin his

stallion career down under at Empire Stallions in Victoria, Australia in October.

Artistic Fella p,2,1:53.3; 3,1:48.4; 1:48f ($2,640,532) was a winner of 26 races in a 52-start career. A double World Champion, Artistic Fella was a fierce competitor, winning 12 races under 1:50 with seven wins between 1:48 and 1:48.4. As a three-year-old, he won 10 straight stakes, including the $1 million Meadowlands Pace, the Oliver Wendell Holmes and the Berry’s Creek. He won the $500,000 Breeders Crown at Mohawk Racetrack as a four-year-old, as well as the $200,000 Dan Patch at Hoosier Park.

In 2008, Artistic Fella returned to win the $500,000 Ben Franklin Memorial at Chester Downs in a World Record 1:48 over Mister Big and Mr Feelgood. He also established a new World Record at a 1 1/16 mile covering that distance in 1:56.1 at The Meadowlands. Averaging over $50,000 per lifetime start, Artistic Fella was trained his entire career by Steve Elliott and is owned by Joe Alborano of New Jersey.

Artistic Fella will shuttle back to the Northern Hemisphere to commence his stallion duties here next season.

Artistic Fella is the newest addition to Empire’s stallion line-up, which also includes Four Starzzz Shark, Modern Art, Kenneth J and Blissfull Hall.
