It has been announced that the Standardbred Retirement Foundation's meet and greet will include a demonstration of how easy it is to break a horse off the track to the saddle.
Hurricane Houdini will be introduced for the first time to a saddle and rider. The process takes only a few minutes and – if like the others – the big, beautiful three-year-old should be ready to walk off with a rider under saddle quietly in front of the crowd.
The meet and greet is scheduled for Friday, June 12 from 6 - 8 p.m. at 42 Arneytown-Horrnerstown Rd., in Cream Ridge, NJ.
Several Standardbreds will be shown under saddle, and more than 60 horses from the age of two through 24 will be on hand for guests to get acquainted with, all looking for a home.
