The second annual ongait.com Fall Yearling Online Auction will be accepting bids starting Friday, October 29 and concluding Saturday, October 30.
Entries are being taken now.
Over 60 yearlings are consigned so far, including sons and daughters of Western Ideal, Western Terror, Tell All, Art Major, Malabar Man, I Am A Fool, Cambest, and Keystone Savage.
“After the response to last year’s Fall Yearling Auction, I have no doubt that selling yearlings will never be the same,” said ongait.com’s Maurice Chodash. “Consignors are happy to say goodbye to sales commissions, shipping and prepping fees, while buyers enjoy viewing online paddock videos and photos before deciding whether to have a closer inspection done. On the days of the auction, buyers can then place their secure, private bids online without having go to a traditional sales venue.”
Consigning a yearling to the auction costs $100 (USD) and can be done in a matter of minutes online or by contacting Chodash toll free at 1-866-240-RACE (7223).
Those without a computer that would like to view the latest roster and register for telephone bidding can arrange that with Chodash as well.
