Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park, in cooperation with the PEI Harness Racing Industry Association, has jointly scheduled the closure of the racetrack to allow for the required grading and preparation for the upcoming race season in Charlottetown.
The racetrack will be reconditioned to the original specifications and requirements. This will necessitate the closure of the racetrack beginning on Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00 a.m. until Friday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m.
Dependent upon the status of the project as the track is being reconditioned, there may be limited availability of the track and/or the infield prior to 7:00 a.m. daily and after 5:00 p.m. daily for use by on-track tenants only. Red Shores will update all horsepeople daily on the status of this availability.
