Being involved with Michael since the 90's and partners in some of the horses owned he truly loved this sport. Whether is was following the SC website daily for the stories, looking up entries and results or sitting in the Woodbine and Mohawk dining rooms with Roz (and others) on the nights the horses raced this was truly his big enjoyment. Even the last big conversation I had with him while he was strong was about horses and the situation of racing in Ontario. His sense of humour, laugh and joking around will always be remembered. Seeing him the last few days was very upsetting so R.I.P buddy you are now comfortable and at peace.
Condolences to the family and may they always remember the good times they had with Mike.

Very sad to know that Mike is gone. Having known him for a long time and having good times and bad together you don't think of it ending. Luckily the last little while was good. Condolences to Roz and the rest of the family. Rest in peace Michael. You deserve it.

Please let Roslyn know my sincere condolences! I knew Michael and Roslyn when our good friend trained their horse.

What a loss :(
