According to a report, officials with Windsor Raceway have announced that Dresden Raceway's season of live racing will kick off as scheduled this Sunday, May 13
.
The news comes courtesy of a report on chathamdailynews.ca, which states that the Windsor officials confirmed the plans for Dresden yesterday (Monday, May 7).
Dresden Raceway and Woodstock Raceway are operated by WinRac, a division of Windsor Raceway.
The report also states that officials with Windsor Raceway have rejected the terms of a proposed transitional agreement offered by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. stemming from the OLG backing out of the slots-at-racetracks program.
