Tara Hills Stud of Port Perry, Ont. has announced that the 2014 books for Kadabra and Sportswriter are now full and closed.
“We would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support for these two stallions this year,” said Tara Hills Stud General Manager David Heffering.
Kadabra’s sons and daughters have earnings of over $44 million. Kadabra is currently the leading money-winning sire for all ages on the trot.
Sportswriter’s first crop race this spring and training reports have been very encouraging. As a two-year-old, Sportswriter was Canada’s pacing colt of the year and the Dan Patch colt of the year, winning seven of eight starts.
