No one came up with the 13th-race Super-Hi 5 on a rainy Tuesday, May 5 at Northfield Park, sending an $8,836 carryover to the Wednesday lid-lifter.
The 20-cent Super Hi-5 wager in the first race features an estimated pool of $50,000. The popular bet continues to maintain its player-friendly 14 per cent takeout. The Super Hi-5 is offered in conjunction with the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program as well as the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association.
Post time for the 15-race program on Wednesday is 6 p.m. Northfield Park currently hosts racing on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
