Darcy R. Pletcher, 60, of Howe, Indiana, passed away on April 29, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Pletcher was born February 3, 1960, in LaGrange, Indiana, to Delmer and Phoebe (Myers) Pletcher; they preceded him in death.
Darcy was a graduate of Lakeland High School and Western Michigan University.
His livelihood was racing and training Standardbreds, which began at the age of 14. Darcy was a member of the United States Trotting Association, and enjoyed golfing and spending time on the lake.
Darcy is survived by his daughter, Jorianne (Pat) Numbers; sister, Dawn (Clayton) Pick; and his father’s companion, Karen Oesch.
A celebration of his life with his family will be held at a later date.
