The inaugural TVG Free For All Series begins next Saturday night at the Meadowlands Racetrack.
The first event for trotters will be the $40,000 eliminations for the $200,000 (estimated) Arthur J. Cutler Memorial Trot. The series conditions state that in the event that the Cutler does not require eliminations a $50,000 Open Trot will be offered to TVG Series eligibles as a point bearing race. All TVG Opens are restricted to TVG Series eligibles only. There is a $2,000 entry fee for the Cutler and $1,000 entry fee for the TVG Opens.
A $50,000 TVG Series Open Pace is also scheduled for Saturday night. Conditions for this Open Pace mirror those for the Open Trot as listed above.
The $58,000 Hudson River Pacing Series final will be raced on Saturday night as well.
Declarations for the above races will be taken by 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7.
The John Simpson Memorial three-year-old trotting stakes will be raced on Friday, May 10. Those entries are due by 9 a.m. on Monday, May 6.
