The 41st edition of the Pepsi North America Cup, set for Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday, June 15, will offer free admission and parking for all spectators.
The $1 million Pepsi North America Cup is Canada’s most prestigious harness race, featuring the continent’s finest three-year-old pacers.
More than just a horse race, the Pepsi North America Cup offers race fans a concert with CCMA award-winning artist Robyn Ottolini starting at 5 p.m., a beer garden, food specials and a kids’ zone. As well, a DJ will be performing in between all races throughout the evening.
Doors open at 4 p.m. and live racing will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the feature Pepsi North America Cup race scheduled for approximately 10:45 p.m.
Fans will also receive a free commemorative Pepsi North America Cup golf hat. The hats will be given away at the beer garden adjacent to the concert area.
As for food offerings, Mohawk will have a variety of its usual concessions and BBQs, plus food trucks will be coming in to serve a variety of items.
Mohawk will also have special LED cups available for all drink purchases (additional $1 cost for the cup). The LED cups will sync with the racetrack's light show that will take place prior to the Pepsi North America Cup race.
The 13-race card includes six stakes races and more than $2 million in purses. Racing fans will have the opportunity to meet the drivers competing that evening during a pre-race autograph session by the winner’s circle at 5:50 p.m.
Horseplayers will be provided a wide variety of wagering options throughout the entire card, including an all-stakes Pick-5.
