The next few months will be busy for the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society as its very popular Drive With Us program will be operating weekly at two Ontario racetracks in addition to a myriad of other activities across the province.
Every Friday night race fans at Grand River Raceway will have the chance to drive one of OSAS’s wonderful ambassadors around the racetrack to experience what it’s like to ride behind a magnificent harness horse. Every Saturday evening throughout the summer the Drive With Us team will be at Woodbine Mohawk Park to give that track's patrons the same exhilarating experience.
In addition OSAS will also have a meet and greet horse at Mohawk every Saturday evening during its summer meet to give fans the chance to see a Standardbred up close, share a few carrots and pets and take a photo.
OSAS will be in London on Friday as part of The Raceway at Western Fair’s signature race night, the Camluck Classic. Be sure to stop by and check out the merchandise for sale and support the cause, and possibly yourself by purchasing a 50/50 ticket.
In addition, the month of June also finds OSAS demonstrating the versatility of Standardbreds at the Hunter Pace on June 2, a Trail Ride at Snapping Turtle Stable on June 16 and a Poker Run in Ayton on June 23.
