‎Six of the 10 horses listed in Trot's 2014 Pepsi North America Cup Spring Book are racing in Saturday's Somebeachsomewhere divisions at Mohawk Racetrack. Where are the other four?

Of the horses that Trot placed in the Top 10, Hes Watching (#1, 5-1), Luck Be Withyou (#2, 8-1), Somestarsomewhere (#3, 9-1), Boomboom Ballykeel (#5, 13-1), JK Endofanera (#7, 15-1) and Bugger Bruiser (#8, 16-1) are all in action in the three Somebeachsomewhere splits.

#4-ranked Arthur Blue Chip was sidelined due to injury earlier this year. Dr. Ian Moore confirmed that Arthur Blue Chip will not enter the North America Cup elims, but he does have two colts waiting in the wings. Tune into Thursday's Trot Radio for more on Moore's N.A. Cup hopefuls.

#6-ranked Western Vintage had planned all along to skip the Somebeachsomewhere and race in the New Jersey Sire Stakes. He's in-to-go Saturday at the Meadowlands and trainer Nancy Johansson told Trot Insider on Wednesday that the colt is still pointed for the N.A. Cup elims next week.

#9-ranked National Debt made a break in his last appearance, the final of The Diplomat at Woodbine on May 10. U.S.-based trainer Ron Coyne told Trot Insider on Wednesday that the colt was freshening up after his less-than-stellar performance last time out. A decision had not been made on whether or not National Debt would be entered in the Cup elims; Coyne considered it "possible, but not probable."

#10-ranked Limelight Beach was not made eligible to the Somebeachsomewhere so, like Western Vintage, it was never in the plans for the colt's connections. Trainer Brian Brown told Trot Insider that he'd be heading to Canada for the Cup elims after his final prep -- a conditioned event at The Meadows on Thursday.
