California Sires Stakes Nominations Due July 1

Nominating and sustaining payments are due July 1, 2024 for the California Sires Stakes program.

Foals of 2023 have a nomination fee of $150 USD and foals of 2022 have a sustaining fee of $250 USD. Payments are due by July 1, 2024 postmarked.

Two-year-olds (foals of 2022) have no grace period, while yearlings (foals of 2023) may be nominated after July 1 at the higher fee of $300 USD until Dec. 31, 2024 postmarked.

All foals of stallions registered for the year of breeding with the Sires Stakes program are eligible. Stallions in the states of California, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Maine and the province of Alberta are eligible.
