Meadowlands Racetrack will hold its first baby races of the season for two-year-old horses on next Saturday
morning, June 2. The entry box closes 4 p.m. on Friday, June 1.
There is no participation fee for New Jersey-bred two-year-olds or two-year-olds staked to races at the Meadowlands. For all other two-year-olds, the fee is $100.
Fans and horse owners are invited to watch the non-wagering events, which will feature live race calls, every Saturday in June and July. Breakfast items will be available for purchase at the Kahuna Wedge concession stand. Paddock tours and children’s activities will be offered on four of the Saturdays (June 16 and 23, July 7 and 21). No reservation is necessary to participate.
Regular morning qualifiers move back to Fridays beginning June 1. The entry box closes 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 29.
