Trot Insider has compiled a photo gallery to accompany the announcement of the contest winners for the 2018 Ontario Regional Driving Championship.
By virtue of three wins in the nine-race tournament, Trevor Henry captured the 2018 Ontario Regional Driving Championship (ORDC), held on Wednesday evening (May 16) at The Raceway at Western Fair District in London, Ont.

The 47-year-old Henry, who hails from Arthur Ont., made his London return a triumphant one, teaming up with Beach Terror ($10.10), Pagani Speed ($7.30), and Willey Bite ($7.00) to reach the winner’s enclosure and top all drivers with 66 points in the tournament. The winner of over 6,400 races in his career will advance to the 2018 National Driving Championship (NDC) in September at Grand River Raceway, as will Louis-Philippe Roy, who earned runner-up honours with two wins and 62 points.

The I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club is pleased to announce that Susan Pon of Edmonton, Alberta, is the winner of the Ontario Regional Driving Championship (ORDC) Online Handicapping Contest.
Over 200 people participated in the contest with two of the entrants finishing with 16 out of a possible 20 points. Susan was declared the winner following a blind draw.
Susan and her husband Barry are regular participants of the Fan Club’s Online Handicapping Contests and have been fans of harness racing for years.
Congratulations to Susan who has won a $50.00 gift certificate to the Canadian harness racetrack of her choice, a Fan Club swag package and an official RDC cap.

Select the post position that will return the highest number of wins from the ORDC races. (4 points)
Susan’s Selection: Post 3
Answer: Post 3 & Post 5. Three of nine races were won from Post 3 -- 2, 8, and 9. Three of nine races were won from Post 5 -- 5, 6 and 7. Entrants who selected post 3 or post 5 were awarded points.
Select the driver that you think will win the first ORDC race. (4 points)
Susan’s Selection: Alfie Carroll
Answer: Alfie Carroll captured the first leg of the ORDC in 1:56.1 with Brown Dirt Cowboy.
Select the ORDC race that will have the greatest margin of victory. (4 points)
Susan’s Selection: Race 9
Answer: Race 6 had the greatest margin of victory with Reasonablydeniably showing no signs of exertion and powered clear on the far turn for a 2:05.4 win.
