Cornerstone Raceway at Yorkton will be holding qualifiers on Saturday, June 1 at 1:00 p.m. Saskatchewan time in preparation for its Friday, June 7 opening race card.
The 12-day meet will run throughout June, July and August with first-race post times each Friday at 5:45 p.m.
Entries for qualifiers will be taken up until noon on Friday, May 31. Horsemen can either call the office at 1-306-783-4800, fax to 1-306-782-4919 or email [email protected].
Although government grants for racing in Saskatchewan have been eliminated, community and industry sponsorship dollars have been confirmed to cover the $90,000 base purses for 2013.
