Trot Insider has learned that the qualifying session that was scheduled for this Sunday (May 31) at Inverness Raceway in Nova Scotia has been cancelled.
The Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission had recently approved four dates for upcoming qualifying sessions at Inverness Raceway in Nova Scotia.
Trot Insider has learned that the May 31 session has been cancelled because the track is not ready. The track is expected to be completed on the weekend.
Standardbred Canada would also like to remind area horsepeople that a Standardbred Canada field representative will be present on to conduct business at the other three scheduled qualifying sessions (listed below).
Standardbred Canada would like to remind all horsepeople that all memberships and eligibility fees need to be paid. Additionally, name changes need to be made before a horse ever qualifies. Coggins tests are required as set out in the rules in your racing jurisdiction.
