The Meadowlands Racetrack today announced that the dates for the 2009 Breeders Crown events it will be hosting have been switched

Via release, the East Rutherford, New Jersey racetrack has announced that it will close out its 2009 harness meet on Saturday, August 22 with $1.7 million worth of Breeders Crown events for older horses.
Along with the $350,000 Woodrow Wilson and $400,000 Sweetheart, the Breeders Crown events were originally slated for Friday, August 21, with eliminations the week prior. However, the track will now be dark Friday, August 14 due to a New York Jets pre-season game at home.
Eliminations for the four Breeders Crown open events will now be contested Saturday, August 15.
