Officials have announced dates and the purse structure have been finalized for Yorkton Exhibition-Cornerstone Raceway for the 2011 season

The bottom purse will be $1,400 and open class will go for $2,200. In 2010 the bottom purse was $1,000 and the Open went for $1,400.
The Yorkton Exhibition Association had been lobbying the Government over the winter for purse increases, and the government of Saskatchewan recognized that $1,000 bottoms made it impossible for the horsemen to make a living in addition to enticing new owners to purchase horses.
The 16-day meet will open on Friday, June 17 and run through to Saturday, September 10. This year there are a few Tuesday night cards to replace weekends that the facilities are booked for other events.
