Standardbred Canada (SC) is issuing a friendly reminder to all horsepeople that all memberships and eligibility fees must be paid prior to participation. It is important to ensure that transfers of ownership are properly recorded so that all horses can race or qualify under legitimate ownership. As Standardbred racing in Canada begins to pick up for the season, members should be prepared for the exciting return. Additionally, any changes to contact information must be promptly updated with Standardbred Canada to ensure smooth communication.

To streamline processes, members are encouraged to conduct their SC business ahead of their horse's qualifying or racing activities. If you are planning on changing your horse’s name, this must be done before the horse qualifies. Coggins tests are required as set out in the rules in your racing jurisdiction.

SC would like to remind members that SC Racing Reps will not be working at racetracks in most areas and will remain working off-site during qualifiers and live racing.

Members can conveniently conduct their business through various channels, including online through eShop, email, phone or fax. The Member Services team is available to assist during business hours from Monday to Friday. Payment for services can be made online through eShop using Visa or Mastercard. For those preferring traditional mail, payment can be made via cheque or credit card information provided on the form.
