In accordance to Mohawk Racetrack's summer meet beginning Thursday, May 20, the Woodbine Entertainment Group would like to advise all horsepeople and fans of changes to the summer qualifying schedule
.
Qualifying days will continue to be Monday and Thursday for the balance of May, but will then revert to a Tuesday and Friday schedule beginning in June. The only exception will be the week of the Pepsi North America Cup, when qualifiers will be held on Monday and Thursday with two-year-old qualifiers that Friday morning.
Aside from that, two-year-old qualifying races will be conducted on Saturday mornings starting on June 12. Hot dogs will be served those mornings with customers being asked to make a donation towards the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society and Halton Women’s Place of Milton.
Here is a look at the complete qualifying schedule at Mohawk through the end of July:
Two-Year-Old Qualifying Schedule:
• Saturday, June 12
• Saturday, June 19
• Friday, June 25
• Saturday, July 3
• Saturday, July 10 (if necessary)
Remaining Qualifying schedule for May 2010:
• Monday: May 17, 24
• Thursday: May 20, 27
Complete Qualifying schedule for June 2010:
• Monday: June 21
• Tuesday: June 1, 8, 15, 29
• Thursday: June 24
• Friday: June 4, 11, 18, 25
• Saturday: June 12, 19
Complete Qualifying schedule for July 2010:
• Tuesday: July 6, 13, 20, 27
• Friday: July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
• Saturday: July 3, 10 (if necessary)
