The Standardbred Retirement Foundation's online auction will open on Friday, May 13 at 3 p.m.
The sealed-bid auction includes fabulous items such as a tour of NBC with Emmy Award winning Bruce Beck and a firsthand watch of the 6 p.m. news live; a Premier Track Trainer from Pennsbury; veterinary services, surgery, arthroscopic surgery, and full body scan, and veterinary care at the training centres and farms; photography services; blacksmith services; a FinnTack harness; Irv and Vic Sportswear gift card: artwork; home décor; a weekend at a family dude ranch; a ride in a starting gate; watch a live race called in the announcer's booth, and much more.
A sealed-bid auction works as follows: Click on an item you wish to purchase and enter the highest amount you are willing to pay. All bids/offers are kept confidential so to win the item you will need to enter your highest bid/offer. The winners will be announced on Friday, May 20. All items will also be available as a sealed-bid auction at SRF's Golf outing at Knob Hill Country Club in Manalapan, NJ on May 18.
Items will be added until the auction ends, and additional donations are very much appreciate. SRF asks for support of the auction as donors have chosen to help with their generous gifts to assist the 27-year-old organization. Proceeds will assist with the feed and care for 203 Standardbreds, some retired due to age or injury under SRF's expense, but all available for adoption.
For further information, contact Tammy at 732-446-442 or [email protected]. The auction can easily be accessed through SRF's website at adoptahorse.org.
