Allan Pootoolal has been appointed CEO by the Board of Directors of Racing Under Saddle Ontario (RUS).
Most recently, Pootoolal has served as a member of the Horse Improvement Program Committee of the Ontario Racing Commission, which worked with industry participants and worked to implement a vision for the industry's HIP Program.
Pootoolal’s knowledge, leadership and dedication will benefit both the horse racing industry and Racing Under Saddle Ontario as it implements the new governance structure.
"I'm totally honoured and we are very excited to have Allan and his direct industry experience leading our organization at this particularly difficult time," said Julie Walker, who confirmed that his appointment is effective immediately.
