James ‘J.C.’ Smith, 70, a longtime harness horseman from the east coast, passed away on March 29, from a stroke.
Smith is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Donald, Scott and Arthur; daughter, Chrissy; brothers, Tom and Preston (Putt); and numerous grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
James was preceded in death by his youngest brother, Forrest (Woody).
