It has been announced that Rick Kane, the director of racing at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono, is planning two Invitational trots for the track's two signature nights of racing this year.
The $75,000 Sun Invitational Trot will be held on Saturday, July 3, in conjunction with the Franklin final, the Earl Beal final, the Max Hempt final, and the Jim Lynch final.
A $100,000 Invitational is being set for Saturday, August 22, a night which will find the track hosting the Colonial, the Battle of the Brandywine, and the Valley Forge, along with their respective consolation events.
