Snow Ridge Farm owner Libby Myers has announced that Western Thorn p,3,1:51.1f ($126,822), a son of Western Terror out of the Matts Scooter mare Rosie Rosie Rosie, will be standing his first season at Snow Ridge Farm in Napoleon, Michigan.
Western Thorn began his racing career blazing a trail for trainer Paul Reid. After winning five of his six starts as a three-year-old, Western Thorn was forced to stop racing in mid-season due to circumstances unrelated to racing. He is one of only a few Western Terror sons currently standing stud.
In addition to Western Thorn, Rosie Rosie Rosie produced Rosie The Rivetor p,1:54f ($193,234) and Outlaw Blues p,1:51.1 ($256,862), among many others.
