Debbie Ferrier Passes

On Sunday, April 24, longtime harness racing participant and lover of horses Debbie Ferrier of Peterborough, Ont. passed away at the age of 47

.

As a trainer, Debbie was best known as the trainer of Kaz and Paultrow. Paultrow was retired in 2004, but according to her partner, Dave Gilbert, he was still cared for by Debbie as a 12-year-old.

Beloved granddaughter of the late Evan and Irene Murrell. Daughter of the late Paul and Faye Babcock. Loving sister of Robyn Rogers and Brad Babcock. Dear aunt of Codey and Harley. Deb will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends in the Millbrook Christian Assembly (71 King Street West) on Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. In memory of Debbie, please consider donations to the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society.
