Leon Rey of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away on Monday, April 26 at the age of 89
.
Rey was an owner and trainer, most proudly connected to pacing mare Lou Ma Belle. Rey's sons Richard, Arthur and Standardbred Canada Director Roland have all followed their father's footsteps into harness racing and most of the family is active in the business.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church in St. Claude.
