The London Classic Yearling Sale (LCYS) entry deadline -- originally this past Friday, April 22 -- has been extended through this week as expressions of interest continue to come in.
“The numbers are encouraging, and I think we will be a little bit higher than I had anticipated,” said Greg Blanchard, Sales Manager. “We had a few more trickle in over the weekend and some more calls today so we have decided to extend the deadline through this week so we make sure that everyone who had planned to enter has the opportunity to do so.”
The LCYS will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 18 and Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the Western Fair District Agriplex and will land directly in between the Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals and Breeders Crown eliminations, both at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
“We like this time slot and the feedback I have received so far seems to support that. There will certainly be some high profile individuals offered here this fall and we look forward to announcing some of those in the coming days.”
