After having been sent off as the post-time choice from the seven-hole, the Gilbert Garcia-Herrera-trained and George Napolitano Jr.-driven Dali Delight ($4.80) captured the $17,000 featured mares pace at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Wednesday (April 25).
Dali Delight made every pole a winning one (:27.1, :56.3, 1:24.3) and recorded a quarter-length victory in 1:52.4. Garcia-Herrera also owns the streaking mare.
The win was the seventh of Dali Delight’s career, and it pushed her lifetime earnings to just under $80,000.
Wes Delight ($3.60) and Vatanna ($3.40) captured the co-features on the card.
