On Friday, April 24, Hanover Shoe Farms announced the passing of broodmare Lifetime Star.
Bred by Brittany Farms, the 16-year-old daughter of Western Ideal - Lifetime Gal produced nine foals of racing age with earnings in excess of $3.8 million. Her most successful foal is two-time Dan Patch Award winner and U.S. Hall Of Famer Bettors Wish p,4,1:47.3 ($2,781,240).
In addition to Bettors Wish, who has now gone onto a successful stallion career, Lifetime Star also produced Rainbowinthedark, the dam of millionaire and world record holder Seven Colors p,3, 1:48.1h ($1,259,960).
Lifetime Star recently foaled a 2026 colt by Captaintreacherous.
