Woodbine Mohawk Park has released details for three new Pop-Up Series that will be offered during the month of May.
Two Pop-Up Series events will be offered for pacers that are non-winners of $20,000 or not averaging $1,700 per start in 2025 in a minimum of eight starts. The filly and mare series will run over the first three weeks of the month on Fridays, beginning on May 2, and the horse and gelding series will run over the first three weeks on Saturdays, beginning on May 3.
The third Pop-Up Series event will be for trotters that are non-winners of $20,000 (fillies and mares $25,000) or not averaging $1,700 (fillies and mares $2,125) per start in 2025 in a minimum of eight starts. This series will run over the first three weeks of the month on Mondays, beginning on May 5.
Purses for all series will be $15,000 for the first two legs with $25,000 finals.
