The W.N. Reynolds Early Closers for three-year-old colt and filly pacers at Yonkers Raceway originally scheduled for May 2 have been cancelled. The Hambletonian Society will refund all eligible horses that have made payments for these Reynolds divisions. In accordance with the published conditions (see below), refunds will be handled by the society office as quickly as possible.

These monies will be prorated among the owners of the horses eligible as of the time of cancellation.

The 2020 Dexter Cup and Lady Suffolk Stakes for three-year-old colt and filly trotters scheduled for April and May race dates at Freehold Raceway have also been cancelled. The Hambletonian Society will also handle refunds for those races according to the published conditions:

Cancellation: The Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel either or both of the races if for reasons beyond its control it becomes impractical or undesirable in the opinion of the Sponsor to conduct said race or races. If an event is not raced due to circumstances beyond its control, the Sponsor’s responsibility and liability will be limited to refunding without interest nomination, sustaining and entrance fees collected toward canceled events that have not been disbursed at the time of cancellation.
