Grand River Raceway’s 2016 live racing season is six weeks away, and the Elora, Ont. track has issued a notice regarding training schedules.
Effective Tuesday, April 26, the track will be open for training every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon, with all horses vacated by 1:00 p.m. This schedule will remain in effect for the balance of the season, except by special notice.
Details of the track’s qualifying schedule and draw days will be released soon.
The 2016 season kick’s off its 48-day meet on Wednesday, June 1 with the seventh annual Local Biz Night event, and a contest awarding a pair of one per cent ownership shares of a racehorse.
