Trot Insider has learned that the Thursday, April 21 qualifying session that was scheduled at Truro Raceway has been cancelled.
The cancellation has come due to lack of entries.
The next qualifying session at Truro is scheduled to take place Sunday, April 24 at 12:00 noon. The draw for the session will be held on Thursday, April 21 (the declaration box will close at 2:00 p.m.). The race office will open on Thursday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m.
It is important that horsepeople are aware that a Standardbred Canada field representative will be on hand to conduct business at the qualifying session.
Standardbred Canada would like to remind all horsepeople that all memberships and eligibility fees need to be paid. Additionally, name changes need to be made before a horse ever qualifies. Coggins tests are required as set out in the rules in your racing jurisdiction.

Membership renewals and eligibility fees are two of many services that can be purchased online. To pay online, register with the SC website and sign into eShop by clicking the eShop button at the top of the homepage.
After this Sunday, the next qualifying session at Truro has been scheduled for April 27. First-race post time for the sessions will be 12 noon, and an SC field rep will be there, as well.
