The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is pleased to announce the donation of a breeding to the Pennsylvania stallion Nuclear Breeze to benefit the MSOA collegiate scholarship fund

.

Tom Cooke, President of the Cloverleaf Standardbred Owners Association and owner of Nuclear Breeze, is donating the breeding, valued at $4,000. Nuclear Breeze, who took a mark of 1:48.2f and earned over $350,000, stands at Nandi Farm in New Freedom, PA.

The first full crop by Nuclear Breeze included 10 winners from 19 starters, led by Shady Breeze (p,2, 1:52.3f).

“We would like to thank Tom Cooke for this generous donation. Nuclear Breeze was a great racehorse and we have already seen some nice colts from his first crop," said MSOA President Rich Gillock. "This is going to be a great boost to our scholarship program for next year."

The breeding will be offered to the public by way of a silent auction. Bids must be mailed, faxed or delivered in person to the MSOA Office prior to April 20. Ten percent of the winning bid must be paid by May 1, and that payment is non-refundable. The remaining 90 percent is due upon a live foal next spring.

If you have questions, please contact the MSOA office at 724-228-3644 or e-mail [email protected].
